BOROUGH OF LINDENWOLD, CAMDEN COUNTY, is seeking a Registered Municipal Clerk/Registrar of Vital Statistics. The selected candidate will perform all statutory duties of the Municipal Clerk and Registrar of Vital Statistics pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:9-133 and will report to the Borough Council. Candidate must possess both Registered Municipal Clerk (RMC) and Certified Municipal Registrar (CMR) Certificates or working towards obtaining those certifications within six (6) months of employment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are critical to this position.  Must have prior experience as a Municipal Clerk or Deputy Clerk and Municipal Registrar or Deputy Registrar. Responsibilities include serving as the secretary to the Mayor and governing body, chief administration officer of elections and licensing, and issuing vital statistics records. Must have experience in preparing meeting agendas, writing resolutions, processing/noticing ordinances, preparing minutes, OPRA, financial disclosures, RFP and bid process, records management, issuing a variety of licenses and permits, and all other duties of the municipal clerk in accordance with State and local statutes. Must attend council and special meetings and be able to work long hours on Election Day as required by law. The candidate should be organized, computer proficient, able to manage multiple tasks, customer service oriented, pleasant, professional, and effective while working with employees, officials and the public.  Supervisory experience a plus but not required.
