The Borough of Closter is seeking a full-time Registered Municipal Clerk. Individuals must have strong communication, computer, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Applicants with RMC certification are preferred but will consider applicants with local government experience and knowledge of the N.J.S.A. 40A:9-133 who are willing to obtain certifications. Responsibilities include serving as secretary to the Mayor and Council by preparing agendas, minutes, resolutions, and ordinances; attending meetings; responding to OPRA requests, chief administration officer of elections, licensing, and other duties so assigned. Salary commensurate with qualifications, education level, and experience.
