DEPUTY MUNICIPAL CLERK / REGISTRAR – CALIFON BOROUGH

Seeking a Part-Time Deputy Municipal Clerk. Knowledge of the Municipal Clerk’s office is preferable but not required. The candidate will serve as the secretary to the Board of Health and Environmental Commission. Responsibilities include assisting in the response to OPRA requests, managing records, issuing permits and licenses, assisting the Parks and Recreation Committee, and performing additional duties. Candidates should possess excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, administrative, organizational, computer/tech., and office mgmt. skills. Must be dependable, self-motivated, multitask efficiently, and maintain professionalism and confidentiality. Candidates must be willing to take the Registrar classes to become a Certified Municipal Registrar if they do not have certification already.
