Job Title: Deputy Municipal Clerk
Montgomery Township is currently offering a full time position of Deputy Township Clerk, working within the Township’s Clerk office. This is a confidential position.
Responsibilities include assisting in the response to OPRA requests, managing records, issuing permits and licenses and additional Clerk Department duties. Candidates should possess excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, administrative, organizational, computer/tech and office management skills.
Interested applicants must have at least 3 years office experience, preferable in municipal government, proficiency in MS Office Suite including Word and Excel, exceptional customer service skills and a high level of attention to detail and professionalism. CMR and RMC certifications preferred or willingness to obtain are required. Ability to work independently and to take initiative are required.
Hours are Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 4:30 pm
Salary commensurate with qualifications, education, and experience.
