The Borough of Swedesboro is currently offering a full-time position of Deputy Borough Clerk/Treasurer, working within the Borough Clerk’s office. This is a highly confidential position requiring discretion.

Interested applicants should have some experience in municipal government, proficiency in Edmunds, MS Office Suite including Word and Excel, exceptional customer service skills and a high level of professionalism. CMR and RMC certifications preferred or willingness to obtain are required. Ability to work independently and to take initiative are required.

Hours: Monday, 8:00 a.m. – 6:30 p.m., Tuesday through Thursday 8:00 a. m. – 4:30 p. m. Friday 8:00 a.m.-Noon. Additional hours are required monthly for Council meetings, for all elections and other special circumstances. This position requires a person who is at least 21 years of age and a U.S. Citizen per NJSA 40A:9-133.2.
