Title: Colts Neck Township - Monmouth County

ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT/FINANCE CLERK
Colts Neck Township has an immediate opening for a full-time Administrative Assistant/Finance Clerk. Duties include but are not limited to sorting and distributing daily mail for the Township, ordering supplies, processing various permit applications, meeting room scheduling, after hours election assistance, handling various types of correspondence, filing, and other duties as assigned by the Municipal Clerk. In addition, for the Finance Office, answering queries from the public regarding taxes and financial matters, preparing correspondence, filing processing fees and payments, preparing purchase orders and checks, reconciling bank statements to the general ledger, and assisting with special projects as needed. Successful candidate will have strong written and verbal communication skills, be highly organized with strong attention to detail, and have the ability to multitask. Must be able to interact and work cooperatively with government officials, department heads, staff, volunteers, and members of the public. Excellent computer skills specifically working with Microsoft Office required. Knowledge of the Edmunds Tax and Finance System is a plus. Regular working hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Salary will be
