The Borough of Hopatcong is seeking a Municipal Clerk to perform all statutory duties pursuant to NJSA 40A:9-133 et seq. including but not limited to: attending all meetings of the Governing Body; preparing legal notices, agendas, and meeting minutes for Borough Council meetings; processing OPRA requests; issuing licenses and permits; administering elections; records management duties; serving as Registrar of Vital Statistics; and performing other assigned duties in accordance with state and local laws. The successful applicant shall be detail-oriented with excellent computer, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and provide customer service. CMR, RMC, Edmunds, and Municipal experience preferred. Salary is commensurate with experience.

Job Qualifications: CMR, RMC, and a valid Driver’s license are required.
